Marty Morrissey began playing bass in high school. While enamored with the virtuosity of players like Jaco Pastorius and Victor Wooten, Marty's playing aspires more towards the work of studio greats James Jamerson, Tom Barney, and Pino Palladino. He has played in pop, rock, funk, and blues bands from Portland to southern Mass, and enjoys a healthy variety of music styles. Surrounded by good friends and wonderfully talented musicians, Marty enjoys being consistently challenged as a player. He'd like to thank the rest of the guys of SWB for all of the fun they have had, and will continue to have!
